not a clue about turbos

ok so i have a standard 1.6 dissel in my mk1 caddy and i want to make it a 1.6 TD, i have a complete TD head so could I swap that for the one on my standard block ? what will i need ? cheers

mate,go and get a turbo diesel engine,the bottom end has differences to cope with the extra stresses,it also has oil jets to cool the underside of the pistons,

5spd box will fit straight on

A SB 1.6 td lump out of jetta, mk2 golf or a AAZ out of a mk3
