sounds like it's pump related

have you got a clear pipe from the filter to the pump

this will tell you if it has stopped pumping fuel

if so i would have a look in your tank and see what is happening there :)

hi mate at first the filter pipe to the pump is full off fuel then it looks like air starts getting in runs fine at first

so it has a clear pipe on it then?

you can just see it in this pic

are you getting air in the fuel lines only when hot?

when it's at a stand still does the fuel dissappear back to the tank?

you need to stop the air, few things to check

check the seal from filter to housing,
replace old copper washers on each fitting,
make sure pipes are good and not old and perished
check all jubelee fitting are tight and the correct size for size of pipe, Larger clips when tighten to much turn oval and dont seal correctly
check the pipe at the tank end
wiggle the accelorator lever on the pump if air gets in the pipe the shaft seal has gone

just a few things to keep you busy

ps moved to the deisel sections :)
