WTB: Vilkus Hardtop

I've been after one for a couple years, but now I finally have the $ to afford one. I know there are rumored to be 6 in existence. From what I've found online only 4 possibly 5 are accounted for. I'm in the US and will obviously pay a finders fee and the cost to have it crated/packaged properly to prevent damage during shipping. Maybe a better option is to even just buy the car equipped with it. My short term goal is to install it onto my '88 but long term I'd like to pull some molds and sell some reproductions.

The last one to sell sold 6 years ago for less than 2000 GBP including the car it was installed on. I didn't have a cabriolet at the time so I wasn't looking haha. This is tied with a Stage 2 Callaway for coolest Mk1 parts. All 6 of the tops are still in the UK from what I've found. I don't care about the rarity it's about the function. I love having a cabriolet, but the sun just seems to cook soft tops in a couple years here.

So where do you live in the US if you are having problems with soft tops, Mojave Desert? ☺️

Andrew dickinson has 2 of them I believe.  But I'm sure there are none available anymore.

I'm hoping to snag one new or used. Maybe even a pair if I'm super lucky. Serious cash to offer/spend as well. I either want one of these or an S1 lol.
