Wanted: MK1 Towbar

Hi all,
I'm looking for a towbar for my 5 door golf,
anyone got one for sale?!

ideally in Dorset area but can pay postage

They are like the proverbial rocking horse poo !!

You can still buy one type brand new, but it requires holes to be drilled in the rear valance and spare wheel well :-(

ah, was afraid that would be the case…   any idea what the brand is for buying new? cheers

Sorry to hear about the job situation. Never a good thing to happen. 
On a positive note, I may have an original tow bar!
