Spare wheel well

Looking for a solid un-welded spare wheel well that has been carefully removed for my 83 Gti tintop

Surface rust not a problem if it's solid enough to clean up

I'm in Fife, Scotland. Can collect if near or can pay for postage

I'm looking for a wheel well also. Vw heritage don't have them in stock, they have the boot floors just not the wheel well and when you ask about when they get their stock back in they seem to have no clue what so ever. Crazyquiffs just do not respond to emails at all. The only time they respond is if you actually buy something from them.

Werk34 also sell them, but I don't think they have stock either. So I myself am pretty stuck where to get a new one.. only option is to cut a good one from one, thus far I have yet to find someone.

I found the same regarding the new items. I have also heard that they are the South African ones which have 2 holes in the bottom. Looking at my well, the originals don't seem to have disks for these holes and so there could be more of an issue  trying to source the disks if not supplied with the new well.

I think a solid original from a breaker would be best bet. I am doing a full resto anyway

Pretty sure it's the same for golf, cabby and even scirocco.

Cabby has mk1 wheel well until 1984 then went space saver.
