Mk1 1272 4-speed gearbox wanted

A few years ago, we fitted a 5-speed box to my son's Mk1 Driver 1.3 - it transformed the car for his 60 mile a day round-trip commute.

Now he's seen sense and has got a "normal" car for the daily slog, he wants to restore the Golf to standard. Unfortunately, we've "mislaid" the original gearbox so we're on the hunt for another

Anything out there?

I've got one, low mileage, £85 collected from Kendal Cumbria

What's the history on the box? How many miles, how long standing, etc
