Have a read of last but 1 post here…

If that's a picture of your car then your side tension cables have broke or you roof has shrunk as you should see that much of the inner pad or plastic trims on the side of the roof.
You can replace the side tension cables with the roof still on the car buy carefully pushing them through the side roof channel but it's fiddly.

Yea that is my cabby. The roof is in desperate need of being completely overhauled. It leaks and is really tatty, it's just a case of getting the money together as I know it's not going to be cheap as I think I will need everything replacing 😢.

Ok, at least it's getting towards the summer so roof down you don't see it!
Saying that I when through a whole summer without opening my roof as it was tearing when folding down flat, gaffer tape was my friend that year..
Depending on how handy you are there's a good guide on here to replacing a roof as a new roof is £200 but you need to add stapes, foam gasket, high heat contact adhesive, window sealant, rear and side tension cables.
The metal rear window frame will need repainting at the very least as you want to last as long as possible as they are silly money…
Guide here to what's involed.

I'm looking for some of these too - do they look the same? I'm trying to keep my car as original as possible.
Cheers!

Hi Scotty B
How much work was it to fit your werks34 a pillar trim to make it look good?
Mine has arrived and it appears to be a mare to fit and make it look similar to the standard on the near side of the car?
Thanks

Yeah mine has just arrived Kingy. Extremely long, tight and not the right profile. Good job it's raining so I haven't got the hammer out. Yet! Being serious and looking at the make up of it I think it may actually need hammering on?

I admitted defeat at the weekend Ken after trying to install it safely without damaging the car, I’m sending it back to Werk34 for a refund which they agreed to today.
I’ve decided to remove my near side trim and leave the car without the 2 trims as I’ve seen other cabs without them and they look alright and I know if I change my mind I’ll find some used versions again in the future.

Had a go last night mate and it's 99% on! Put the roof up and opened the door and slid it in from the top using plenty of grease. As I said only 99% there but fingers crossed.
Don't blame you for sending it back though because they are certainly not that great and if they were the correct length and the bottom had the correct curve I doubt if they would ever go on.
I'll let you know if successful or not and keep my eye open for any that come available for you.
