020 5-speed gearbox

Following a recent catastrophic gearbox failure, i am trying to locate a replacement 5- speed manual gearbox for my 1990 1.8 8v cabriolet.
I would appreciate if anyone could let me know if they either have a good condition box available for sale or could recommend a good reputable supplier please.

Cheers Docc

Thanks for the reply Blamester, i'm at the other end of the country in Sunderland however if you know your  gearbox is a good condition unit which i will be able to swop straight over then i would pay for the shipment no problem, if you were willing to arrange it.
The code stamped onto the bottom of my gearbox housing is AUG27020 with the number 3 directly underneath the stamp.
I'm not quite sure what this means but i think the gearboxes are interchangeable between models.
let me know what you think

Thanks for providing your code and I think your correct about the gear ratios. I just want to be s100% ure it will be an ok replacement
before we make any arrangements. I'll post another request asking if anyone can confirm the interchangeability. If it is ok would you be ok arranging delivery and I would pm you. Does the box have a smooth change?
I just want to get back on the road with the least hassle possible.
Cheers Docc

AUG and ACD are interchangeable (you may need to swap the reverse light switch). Both have 100mm cups.

The only difference is the AUG has a taller 2nd gear so you'll get 60mph. Otherwise they are the same.

Ok great, then if the box is good condition we can make the arrangements if that's ok with you.
