Gearbox Bolts and Alternator Bracket / 1981 1.6 GTi

Hey,

I'm after some gearbox bolts and an alternator bracket for a 1.6 1981 GTi. I've managed to misplace mine somehow in the process.

Please let me know if you have any.

I have the bolts that hold the gearbox onto the engine, its from a 1.8 but am sure it will be same as 1.6?

I'm not sure for definite obviously. How much would you want for them?

Just seen some bolts on ebay for £25. So how does 13 inc post sound?

Just had a thought, I dont think have the starter motor bolts, I will have a look tomorrow.

The bolts you require are m12x50 X 2 and m12x58 X 1. Can't remember lengths of the starter motor ones though.

The m12'same are standard thread so you purchase then from a few places.

Which bracket for alternator is it do you have a picture as I think I have a couple lying around the carport.

I have the 3 bolts that hold the gearbox to the engine, I dont have the long ones for the starter motor

I'd only have the picture of the space missing unfortunately as mine is totally lost. I'll try to find a picture from somewhere else as a reference.

That's a bit of a shame Allan. How much are you wanting for the other 3 anyhow?

Make me an offer, I think I have the bracket you want as well? Its the bracket that bolts to the engine block I have.

No problem. It's been missing on mine for so long now, I couldn't actually tell you if it is right. There seems to be a few variations also.

How much were you wanting for it?

I have one if that isn't right
