If your passenger seat is ok, just swap the foam and covers over to drivers side. Bolster wear on drivers outside edge becomes inside next to gear stick on passenger side and vise versa.

Cheers Chortle..
Yeah I have thought about doing this… I have no bolster wear but the back of the drivers seat has been ripped at some point at the hinge and the padding in the drivers side is work and the base of the seat side has some wear…
ideally id find a really good passenger seat like rocking horse do da though..

Yep
seat backs though aren't swapable the tilt lever be on the wrong side.
A good seat needed for sure if it's the side piece on the rear seat you rub when you get in and out you could take out the section from a passenger seat and then resew it back in?

Hi, after obsessively searching for bolster material for my cabby for about 12 months I found a guy in germany who says he can supply it. Mine is not the same as yours (FA code - grey/ blue/ black blocks in middle). I have been told by so many people that I have no chance of finding it… Have ordered and hopefully it is correct when it turns up…

He also has other cabby material so worth checking. Looks like a picture of your interior on the link above. Really helpful guy called Jörg. I used google translate to email him in german; not sure if he speaks English.

This is a bargain just to get the material you need:

I also bought some of these front seat covers:

from what I can tell once the cover is off the seat back the frames are actually the same, you will also need to remove the tilt mech and swap it over to the other side but all the holes etc are already there… if you feel the inside edge of the top bolster you will feel a hole! , I can post up pic tomoz as my bruv has a couple of seat backs without cloth on em!

Thanks for the info guys much appreciated…
Im going to see if I can find a good passenger seat at least that will give me a good drivers seat base..
If that fails ill be going down the material and new bolster route
My drivers seat is pretty good but the foam in the base and the bolster and starting to go.. everytime I get out of the car there is more little bit of foam on the carpet ..
