1.8 Gti Complete Engine Required

I have a 1984 1.8 Gti Cabby that now needs it's second replacement engine in two years thanks to buying a shoddy one last time.

Anything considered as do need to get back on the road asap.

I'm changing mine for a 2.0l 16v.

Thanks for the response! Have you got any details of the engine, plus mileage, condition etc. Also where are you, when would you be taking it out and how much are you looking for?

I have am 83GTi block and head bolted together. It has done 127K and is a good engine. Only reason I took it out is I put a 16v in. Only thing it needs are the exhaust manifold studs removing and new ones put in as I had to cut them to get manifold off. All your current engine parts will bolt straight on.
