Tin top campaign project wanted

hey guys, im looking for a rolling resto kind of car, something that needs work but can be driven round in between most of that work (if such a thing exists)  ideally looking for one thats either helios blue, lhasa green or mars red. tax and mot aint an issue, my budget is about £800, so who wants to offload their project onto me??? 

Yeah i will take one too! don't think you will find one you can run around in for £800 but i could be wrong.

i've been calling him since thursday 8am he keeps saying someone has 1st refussal but he hasn't turned up
and he has not added photos of the roof which is shot! its rotten by the drivers side

Roof looks bad , how was the rest of the car ? 

a friend of mine sent me those pictures as he is local, but the car was in a yard blocked in, the boot wouldn't open and the front has had a light knock. he claims its solid and the roof will easily sort when resprayed!  cf_emoticons__BangHead:its an interesting theory  he just keeps claiming some other guy has 1st refusal!! after a higher bid i think personally

I contacted him when this first came up and gave a cheeky offer of £650, which he messaged me to get in contact but found another GTi closer to home…  Sounds as though he's holding out now with the amount  of interest?

I had bought it   blind ,paid him in full over the Christmas period
  .but when I saw the photo of the roof on here I asked to pull out of the sale …he says he will refund me so fingers crossed 

Err it's January now what's wrong with him ?

Well a quick update .he told me he was going to contact another interested party ..and he would refund my money  today ……..the car seems to be increasing in price ,  I still haven't received my money back …. 
 Now he ssays he will refund it Monday …
I paid him on 31st  Jan so that's when the car was actually sold …

I did …but it took a while , I was getting worried

Too Busy with work to touch it to be honest.

just to let people know, im still on the hunt haha! went a bit quiet as my focus went towards my e36, but that'll soon be up for sale to make way for a golf…. if i ever find one!!
