Sportline GTI or Cabby GTI for sale

Hi All

Does anyone know of a good Sportline GTI or Cabby GTI for sale?

I know its not the ideal time to sell a convertible which is probably why I cant find one, but I have finally got the green light from the misses to get one and I cant find one :(

Budget is around £3500 - £4000 at a push.. would like one which is pretty much there rather than one that needs another 2k spent on it.. also looking for something bog standard, not fussed about modified etc..

Seen a few cabby GTI's on ebay but if I had a choice its going to be a red sportline everyday..

Any help much appreciated...

Hi I'm debating whether to sell our Mk1 GTI Cabby quartet special edition 89/90 G Plate - Bought from another club owner a few years back.  Wifes just had our first baby and we need 2 usable cars (currently "gerty" is mainly our weekend car which I also use on the odd commute to work to),  PM me and let me know if of interest or more details.  Had good restore inside and out and mechanically spot on. recent pic below, more on request of work done on her etc.

wasn't to keen on the 320 mile round trip if it was a bit rough..

Thats always my problem, as I am up in dinburgh, all cars are a serious drive away which is a real pain !!

Thats why i snapped up the clipper that was for sale in livingston dont get them up here very often
