I recently bought this car with the idea of using it as a base to complete a 20V swap, however it runs and drives really well and it seems a shame to mess with a GTI that is working well The passenger door does have some cracking/scratches to the paint, which I have had a quote of £150 to sort, however it isn't obvious when you look at the car and certainly doesn't affect the drive Red mohair roof has had a small tear repaired (very well) and is water tight and fully working

BBS RA wheels are ok and tyres are good

Starts, stops and drives well - I am using it for work at the moment and am doing approx 20 miles per day

Gearbox is very smooth and I would say the bushes have been replaced very recently
