I Bought this car as a non runner 18 months ago purely because the underside was completely free of rot.
As soon as i got my hands dirty, it revealed an absolute gem!
The interior as I knew was in excellent condition free from wear on the seat bolsters and a lovely thick carpet, but to my joy the engine turned out to be as solid as a rock!
The exterior however did need some work, which I tried to ignore, just to enjoy the car for what it was. Fun!

However recently I've got the body sorted out.
Rust and rot has been removed from the tailgate, sunroof area, and windscreen frame  and rear window frames.
The wheel arches have been properly restored to their original colour, rather than replaced with new ones with the incorrect finish
I'm in the process, since the pictures were taken last Friday of restoring the bumpers just to finish of the exterior.

The car is completely original apart from just a couple of items:
The Steering wheel is leather
It has a lower front strut brace
I have relayed the Headlights to produce a modern standard of light

I have used it occasionally to commute but mostly the occasional run in the country.
Unfortunately I really haven't driven it enough as I should so it's time to say goodbye and let someone else enjoy her

This car really is 100% reliable, with beautiful Lhasa green paint
