Sold Mk1 golf cabriolet show car £7750

Mk1 golf cabriolet 1.6 8v 




Reluctantly looking to sell my mk1 cabby as now looking for a t5 to take the family away. 
I have owned the car for 4 1/2years and in that time I have done a full nut and bolt rebuild including a full bare metal respray inside/out/underneath and smooth engine bay, no expense has been spared on this. It is an awesome car and just won top 10 at retro dubs. I have spent hundreds of hours working on this and I absolutely love it but need something for the family now even though I no I'm going to regret this. The golf was off the road unit April this year when i finished it, I have only done 800 miles since having it back on the road

32/34 Weber 
 Cambelt and head gasket changed when engine was out
Fully polybushed 

Full stainless exhaust including 421 manifold 

Dampener adjustable coilovers with raised top mounts
 Gti front brakes with drilled and grooved discs and braided lines
  Resprayed in alpine white 
 Mint interior 
 Everything under the car is brand new or refurbished and either painted or powder coated.

All new brake lines and fuel lines

All wiring has been extended and run through the wing with the battery relocated in the boot.
 Topfill radiator 

Bbs ra powder coated with hand polished lips
