Description: Hello, I recently bought myself a early tin top so i unfortunately have no more space to keep my Cabby on the drive so i have decided to try and sell it!

This car i saved from a man not far from my house who had bought it 5 years previous to me finding out about it, he had bought it with the intention to restore it (like we all do) and basically put it in his back garden and never ever touched it. after 5 years the hedge next to the car had grown so big it had completely engulfed the car and was pretty much unrecognizable as a car, i agreed a price for the unloved Cabby and pulled it out of the hedge and onto the truck.

Once id gotten the car home i chucked a fresh battery on it and some fresh fuel down its throat and it fired straight up without even struggling, after that i was determined to get it on the road so booked it in and she failed on a indicator bulb and a exhaust rubber :)this is how she sat that day.

as soon as it was on the road i started pulling all my special parts out of hiding to get it looking more my style, i had a very clear image in my head of what i wanted and it was that rare 'Cosmos Blue' paint that gave me the inspiration, i gave it a bloody good clean and chucked my Diamond cut VW estorils on it and some coilovers and i was away :)

the previous picture was taken at its first club meet, a drive it full time for roughly 2 months before i sorned it and put it the sleep for the winter in the lock-up i had at the time. the next time it saw daylight was in Feb. of this year when i decided to bring it out and give it some more lows. the chassis legs has been given a 3" notch, i then bolted on some Old Skool Vulcan Werks strut tower raisers and managed to get it sitting a lot nicer! i then shallowed the oil sump and shortened the oil pick up tube for a bit more ground clearance, then i was able to get it REAL low. but not before i had the N/S drive shaft shortened by 5mm in order to stop the CV from binding :)

The cars maiden voyage after surgery was the 400 mile round trip to Telford for Ultimate Dubs 13' and then home again.. here's a little rolling shot

after UD13 i bought some brand new potenza 165/50/15's which sit SO much nicer than the big 195's and gave me a lot more clearance for more lows :)

recently ive changed up the interior from the all black one i had it in to this!

and this is how it sits now.. it needs a new home everyone, i am willing to let it go for £700 without the estoril's or as is for £1000ovno, its such a fantastic car, its never ever let me down it starts first time every single time no matter the weather. it has a few rust bubbles on the door and some on the N/S rear arch but its all cosmetic stuff the shell is solid and its such a fun car to own and drive :) please someone give it a nice home maybe even a upgraded engine. pm me or give me a shout on the number ive given and i'll be more than happy to answer any questions. thanks guys.
