Sad times!


Im putting my Mk1 up for sale due to moving to a new house. I wont have any space or time to enjoy this car so it would be unfair of me to let it sit and rot.


The car is a 1500 GL. (possibly with a 16. head - ive added a photo to show)
1982 reg.
34000 miles on the clock (no idea if this is original, but I'm guessing not).
Imari silver 5 door.
Camel cloth interior.
Lowered on FK coilers and 14" mini G60 steels with good tread on all tyres.
4 speed manual gearbox.
Webber carb


Ive owned this car for just over 3 years now and in this time I've sorted various issues with the car and brought it back to life.


Ive added the coilovers,
steels and tyres,
whole new ignition system,
battery,
cam belt and pulley,
alternator belt,
rear clusters,
side trim,
Rear drums, shoes and bearings.


The car has just gone through an MOT so has 1 whole year with it.
Insurance is super cheap as it was my weekend car so only £97 smile emoticon


There are a few rusty bits which I've showed in the photos. The rear offside arch and the rear panel where the tow bar is. Also a lacquer scratch on the rear nearside for panel.
The car takes a while to start due to the manual carb, but once it gets going there are no running issues so could do with a carb tune at some point.
