Been in the same family since 2011.
Since that time it has had many thousands spent on her. This year alone I have receipts for £2500+. So far this year the following has been completed.
Full top end engine rebuild including a full head gasket and carbs set up.
New fuel pump
2 sets of keys
Full Toad Alarm System
New Battery
New distributor cap, HT leads, Rotor arm and coil.
The following bodywork has also been completed
Front wings stripped and repaired and painted, new inner and outer sill on the passenger side. New passenger side rear arch. New lower driver’s door. Then the car was painted back to an excellent finish.
The engine is a 1.8 16v KR from a MK2 GTi, the last rolling road it was recorded at 158BHP so this is a very nippy car. Also has a custom Manifold and R1 bike carb set up from Bogg Brothers of Malton. The car also benefits from a MK2 GTi full leather interior.
In the last month the car has also had new discs and pads all round and new tyres all round as well.
The car also comes with 6 months MOT and the original spare wheel and jack.
Other new parts include a set of brand new dark chrome headlights.
The logbook still states this vehicle as a 1.1 litre vehicle. The car also comes with a folder full of receipts.
Please bear in mind this car is 33 years old and she is by no means immaculate however any issue are small such as the handles missing to pull tilt the seats forward to gain access to the rear seats. Just needs the handles putting back on.
