Due to the current state of affairs with this country and in particular the housing market, a young first time buyer like myself finds it difficult to raise a sufficient amount of funds for a deposit. This along with the forever nagging voice of my girlfriend complaining about what limited savings I have, forces me VERY reluctantly to sell my pride and joy!!!



















The car has been fully restored to a very high standard and was completed last year after 2 years of hard work.

The body was taken back to bare metal and the following panels replaced; rear valance, both rear inner and outer arches, both front wings, 2 new doors, new door sills. The car is now completely solid with no sign of rust or corrosion.

The paint job was done by a professional (and expensive) paint shop and is finished in Porsche classic grey, to an immaculate finish! The wheels currently on the car are 7j porsche teledials, powdercoat finished in gloss black, with near new tyres fitted all round.

The car was originally a 1.3 driver, but has now been converted to a 1.8 20 valve turbo engine- Audi engine code AEB. The donor engine had done 65,000 miles when sourced and this was stripped and a new cambelt/ water pump fitted. The engine is fitted with the K03s turbo producing 220bhp, this is all running on a megasquirt ECU and has been professionally tuned by 'Dynotech- Ripley' on a rolling road. I have fitted a manual boost controller which allows the driver to change the power output of the car. The majority of the time the car is ran on low boost which produces a very respectable 39mpg fuel economy.

The suspension of the car is running on jamex shocks with Eibach 40mm lowering springs- which is a very comfortable and practical setup. All bushes have also been replaced with a powerflex kit.  The brakes have been upgraded to compensate for the extra power. It has a 280mm G60 front brake upgrade with vented and grooved discs, with a mk4 rear disc conversion on the rear- with goodridge braided hoses and all new copper lines. The servo has also been upgraded to a 9'' from a mk2 golf 16v.

The interior of the car is in excellent condition with new carpets and roof liner fitted. The front seats have been converted to corrado seats, which give a much better support than the original mk1 seats. The rear seat and parcel shelf are like new and the battery has been mounted in the boot to save space and neaten up the engine bay. The car will also come with a Panasonic DAB radio.

Off the top of my head I can not think of much else to list, hopefully the pictures will show that the car has been completed to a high standard!
