The 3 Button issue!!!

Hello guys,sorry for my english but it is not my native language.I would like to ask for your help because there is a thing that drives me crazy and i can not find the right answer.I saw a really cool golf mk1 cabriolet witch was heavily tuned (https://www.vau-max.de/magazin/auto-der-woche/twan-niemeijers-vw-golf-1-dieses-erdbeerkoerbchen-wuerde-auch-dem-weihnachtsmann-gefallen.4299) and there on the center console there is 3 botton.Two for the power window and the third i just can not find any information about it.Somehow i managed to write on facebook to the owner and he replied that this is some speciel thing put by him.Ok i calmed down,this is not from factory and then i saw on youtube videos that there are cars in wich all the three buttons are functional but the quality it is not good and i can not see it and i can not find any information about it so please help me.What is the third buttons do in the middle from the center console and somebody knows what this botton means because for me it looks like it is an original part?Thank you in advance for your help and hopefully i will not go grazy :-))))))

The third button is usually for the power convertible roof.

Some roofs are manual and others are electric.

That button is different though.

From the symbol on it and from reading you explanation I would think it may be for the air suspension possibly.

Later cabs post 1990 had the power roof as explained.
So it was fitted in the middle of the plate.

You could try opting the page in google translate to see if it can be read.

Window and roof switches all the same so you can swap em. Also those with power sunroofs of other VW Models.

I thought it was for flight mode, where the wings come out from the bottom, and the trunk opened to expose the turbine, with the rear wheel arches changing to intakes…. I have always wanted to install a Pulsed Laser Weapons system for stupid drivers.  . Now that would be the third button to have.
