What's it worth???

This is a genuine One owner car with all documentation including the original bill of sale.
It's a metalic blue 5 door GLS. It's in good condition as it's spent most of it's life in a garage sometimes doing less than a hundred mile between MOT's.
It hasn't been run for four years. the car will be running.
The paint work a little scabby in places but all Original.
The interior is good apart from the drivers seat which is shot.

They're only Original once, and this is as honest as the come. It's family owned.

The car will be For Sale, but i haven't really got a clue what it's worth so answers on a post card please!!!
Thanks, Paul.

I'll try to upload photos ASAP.

Whatever you think its worth as you're the only one that's had a prod and a poke……

Not a sort after model.
An auto so even less desirable.
I wouldn't get too excited with its uniqueness if it needs paint. if its low mileage you would want the car to reflect the low mileage which would mean clean paint.

What do you think it worth?

I haven't really got a clue. But with Air Cooled VW's (with which i'm more familiar)the trend has definitely swung towards original paint unmolested, so i thought i'd offer it through here first,  For the die hard enthusiasts. Are cars like this, still quite common, i don't know? it's a never been welded, doesn't need any. i would have thought this would be quite rare due to rock salt, and our iffy climate.
cheers, Paul… IMG_7995.jpg

I guess the beauty of original paint is that you know what you've got. With a shiny new paint job it could be hiding wodges of filler. Maybe that's why the trend has gone that way in aircooled as they are that much older and most  have been restored at a price.

Cars like this do turn up now and again.

If it was a gti you'd have people beating your door down.

And that's cheap if you consider the number of hours and money spent it takes to get one to that condition.

It'd make a great sleeper with a 20VT in it and keep the outside as is!
