Twin or single?

Post

Which do people prefer, twin or single headlamps?, mine has twin fitted, but I prefer the cleaner  uncluttered look of singles.

Single headlights for me.

Although my Campaign has to have twins to be correct, I do prefer  the look of singles - makes the car look wider I think.

God (and VAG) made the GTi as twins and that's how they should be!
Also hate the idea of making making a brilliant car anonymous by removing the badges. We often wonder why our vehicle prices are so low it's because no one knows what the hell  just passed them!

2 tintops.
3 cabbies, 1 with G60 power, just for fun.
Volvo T5, just for fun.
3.1Ltr V6 Dutton Leggera, just for fun.
Renault 5 GT Turbo, just a money pit!
Several boring cars, just no fun!

I agree with this if your after an original look then you should go for what ever the car came with.if your modifying it then I prefere singles and grilles are available new but at the end of the day it's your choice you should build your car for you.

I like the look of both. Depends on the style of car. As long as you don't make the car " chav-tastic".

I am pretty sure my 83 GTI TinTop came with single as standard. I have run both, and for a while I had 460 watts on main beam !! You could see very well :-)
But I prefer the single look and now I have an intercooler in the way !!

Not true on 2 counts. Firstly only the later GTIs were twin headlamp (4 lamp grille) as standard. And secondly, VAG are the UK Importer, not the manufacturer.
