Next three priorities.

Clutch cable - mine is really binding.
New distributor. - hall sensor iffy so may as well get a new shiny part
Fuel pump?

Clutch cable is fairly easy I think. £30 heritage parts or similar.

Dizzy- can anyone recommend. Mine is an EG engine 1.6 with the rounded hall connector not the square one.  Are there any recommended upgrades or good value versions out there. Will do the whole Dizzy as it helps tidy up the engine a little more.

Fuel pump - maybe -  ignition on and the pump makes its usual hum. But it does not stop it would keep pressurising all day if it let it. Obviously this is fine when the engine is running but not sure it’s meant to do this. Any advice ?

What about having the distributor reconditioned? I had mine done by H&H Ignition Solutions, came back looking brand new, from memory I think it took them a week or two for it to be done and cost about £150. Might be worth it if you can't find a replacement?
