even if he took the "1" off the price i still wouldn't want it.

not even a window winder on the passenger door!

Unfortunately the market prices seems to be going up for good cars, but that also mean the people with rubbishs cars try there luck

The front seats and steering wheel are terrible and not concours

Ha Ha, yeah, 16v on carbs…..from the factory; along with the oil pressure light on at 1300rpm!

And those seats…it looks pants.

Yeah I bit of wishful thinking with that price/car combination.

It's been up for ages - I'm pretty sure it was up for nearer £20k originally! lol

It's filthy, look at the centre console, the engine bay. As already mentioned take the 1 off the price and he'd still struggle  

It's just not worth the money or is it?

Perhaps there's a typo and they mean "Volkswagen Golf 1.8 GTi 3dr needs FULL CONCOURS RESTORATION."  

I have to be careful here otherwise I'm accused by some of putting off new members and bringing down the value of other similar cars! 

I don't know what you all mean it's mint, especially how the front and rear seats work together and a bargin price too         

That hasn't been restored clearly just had an exterior respray but there's loads of people with classics who think they have restored a car when they have only had it painted.

I no it's far from concours but a car doesn't have to be standard for all concours competitions

Prices going up is actually good for the mk1 because they are getting to the stage where there more valuable complete rather than in parts so it's helping to save them that price on the other hand is ludicrous

Absolute joke....lots of bits missing if it was restored.
