Hi
I see a lot of threads on here about wheels regarding best size etc. so i am reaching out to you as the experts. I have a chance to buy a set of D90 wheels 16 x 6 fronts and 16 x 8 for the rears i run standard suspension, does anyone see any issue in running these rims?
thanks

None at all if you're standard ride height.
What et/offset are the 8's, 52?

Yeah good high offset.
I personally never run 8's on mk1's but then I'm run my cars low and wheels tucked.
Just be mindful of the size of adapter you use as you don't want them to poke too much.

yeah good point on the adapter i was looking at 30mm, not too bothered about too low but want to run it slightly under the lip of the arch.

30mm won't work at all, that'll make them et22.
A 15mm adapter will make them et37, personally I'd buy 6's and 7's as you've more room for manoeuvre.
That thing up there has rubber band tyres, camber and definitely had arch work.
