My daily

I rarely use the forum but i know once i need to find the fiddly parts i'll be on here daily.
Not that i post enough for anybody to follow but recently my karmann s*ut has been a lot easier to love…

The 'running away' issue was a loose linkage in the carb (which has now been serviced), no more terrifying episodes but because of the trauma i am still a little apprehensive to open her right up, might be a bit dramatic but that's what happens when estrogen and cars mix.

So much has been done in the last 2 months, it's nice to be able to push a button and have the roof fall down instead of being vertically challenged, calling the neighbours to help me put it back up.
I can't help but get ahead of myself thinking about coilovers or air? wheels? new carpet, refurb seats and exterior trim, deal with the lil patches of rust,. respray? entirely replace the bonnet because it's an absolute joke of a state.
There is so much to do and who nows if it'll all be done by the end of August but i know i'll be rollin up to E38 in that FOR SURE! :thumbs:Anna

It's fine, just the usual 20 years of wear on the body but the bonnet is a mess, generally it's a gem
