Looks like it but, there are 2 different racks, one for Auto's and one for Manuals, and since I don't see the bracket for the relay shaft I would say Automatic.
There should be a VAG number on it and we can cross check that number…. it appears also to be LHD

It was fitted to some Cabby's from very late 90 until end of production in April 93. The Sportline for example! 😉

I can't say specifically as the bracket that should have a hole in it for the shifter relay rod has two threaded studs there where the hole bracket should be. It could be that you who drive RHD models have a bolted bracket to hold the relay shaft….
I do know that on my LHD Autos there isn't a bracket.
I do know that on my LHD manuals there was a Bracket for the Relay shaft…. it was more square like in the breakdown picture than the rounded protrusion….
I may take a closer look at my Rack as I have to change the Steering Pump today.
I do know that if you change out a Steering shaft and wheel on a Air-Bagged 90 Cabriolet you have to get the scirocco or early type of u=joint coupler to mate the new steering shaft to the Rack Be it Manual or Power in the 90ish over here on this side of the pond.
