Making the Mk1 your own

I'm doing a rolling resto with my mk1 cabby (doesn't need much but when it comes to cars in perfectionist) but I also thought off adding personal touch to it. Factory standard is great but I wanted it to feel like mine so I went for a quick and easy fix Stickers off eBay. Brings colour to the black little beast.. What have you done?

Good idea there and when you get bored with them you can easily change the. I am a purist and keep my car as standard as possible but also appreciate when people personalise their cars.

I've personalised or modded all of my cars I've owned. From my very 1st Renault 5 campus, put a full GT Turbo interior in it to my stupid 300bhp focus St I had. Just like them to be a bit different from cars.

I'm a purist first and foremost but I do believe in making my cars just a little different by adding extras that are within year.

I now own my Mk1 and a Mk6 estate and I can say without a shadow of a doubt you will not find the same two models anywhere in the world with the spec of these two.

The stickers look ok and if that expresses you that's great!  

Mine is the first car I've owned that I've decided to restore to standard. However I still like the tastefully modified stuff. It's a testament to these vehicles that they lend themselves to either route so well!

On my last Sportline I was obsessed with making everything red or black with no other colours to enhance the colour scheme further.

I really like the early westys  over in the US so had mine converted ðŸ~Ž not to everyone's taste but I love it
