Can anyone give me a little help please , looking for some  new Mudflaps for my Mk1 golf Cab Gti


  I know there's lots out there due to searching lots of websites … Looking for genuine ones really I think and advise on best place to buy ?

Feel a little silly asking this question really but always seem to get good advise on here so it saves me buying the wrong ones I hope ;0)

I don't think any of the new flaps fit correctly and you need original ones if possible.

I might be wrong and hopefully someone will give you better advice and if they do I might buy a set as well  

I am presuming your Golf has the Clipper style bodykit, so this might not be of much help.

But, I bought these a Genuine VW ones back in 1988 fir my GTI and fitted the wheel arches with black arches perfectly, and I know fitted cars without fine. They were intended for the MK2 and even back in 1988 I don't think VW still stiocked ones for MK1 that just clamped on without drilling.

Theses are still in good condition even after 75k miles and I nearly painted the clamps up and fitted back onto my car, but decided not to as I cover such a low mileage now and never go out in the wet.

 But theses are the ones I have on at the moment also,was looking for gen MK1 ones if they exist,

  Will keep looking and post if I find any.
