Help with a conlog immobiliser

Hi Chaps i thought i would have a few hours looking at my wiring today and noticed a conlog immobiliser,

the car starts fine with the standard key, however when i unplug the conlog the car wont start, would any one have any information about this or a manual i would like to remove it if possible cheers guys.

if you want to bin it then its pretty simple. follow all the wires from conlog brain, cut all of it out. repair any bare wires, and re-join any cut vw wires matching colour and wire gauge
