help needed mk1 colf cabby

hi, after soom ideas for my mk1 over the winter months, got a 1989 golf gti cab karmin edition. not to sure what to do with her exterior wise, was thinking about removing the body kit but not too sure? also wheel choice is driving me a bit crazy, and single head lamp conversion or stick with the old twin look? any ideas or pics would be awsome!

hi mate i have a cabby aswell and i was planning on just going with the big bumpers instead of small? i will be sticking with the twin headlight badged grill. not too sure about the wheels but i was thinking on sticking with the bbs ra's that are on and just giving them a pollish up? its all down to personal preference really, if you like the sound of it then go for it, after all if you have the money and time to try things out then go for it. hope this helps

Im just n the mddle of dong mine, im going for single lights grill, lowered 40mm, BBS alloys, VR6 Chin spoiler. Resprayed pearl white.

Id personally leave the kit on,  think they look "bare" without but each to their own

Any excuse! Heres mine…

Not really going for any major alterations in the near future, quite like the way it looks. Just going over everything and replacing anything that looks excessively rusty or worn, shocks and springs going back on in place of the coilovers as i am getting too old for the harsh ride. Spent the last week pulling out the old alarm and touchy immobiliser. Have a new hood to go on next year, also want to get the outer rims of the wheels polished up as they are starting to look a bit rough in places.

I decided on a single headlight grill, full clipper kit (as was going to opt for chrome bumpers and remove the arches and skirts but cant find any affordable), some Ronal turbo alloys and going to be fitting some coilovers in the new year too. I dont think they need too much doing to them to make the cabby a nice looking car.
