well just thought I'd let you all know that my MK1 is now gone I really am gutted as I do love them but due to current circumstances it had to go And has been replaced with a MK5 Escort convertible! I know its nothing compared to what I had but at least I've got a convertible for the summer! I'll still pop onto the forums and have a look out as I will be getting another MK1 when I can afford it, maybe a hard top next time   Thanks for all your help everyone!

Sorry to hear you had to lose the Mk1. At least you can look forward to eventually getting another, your time will come! And yes, you don't have to own a Mk1 to join in on the site, so we'll see you around the forum :wink:
