electro zinc plating 5th injector

Hi,does anyone know how one would zinc plate the body of the 5th injector on a gti without damaging the internal electrical connectors?. I saw chr15_w's restored thread in which he had done exactly that. I have not been able to get an answer from him/her.

you would have to mask up the areas were you dont want the zinc to get

Hi Jellybelly, thanks for your reply. I was thinking more of the probs with the solution getting into the inside of the 5th injector
 

again just mask off or bung the hole up really

I did my 5th injector. As above I just masked it all off before it was dipped. I don't think the solution is the best for it. Looks ok when complete though. I also painted up another I had as spare ended up using this one on my engine.
