I drive topless, I have intestinal fortitude to be courageous in the face of Rain.
A little spritz isn't going to dampen my topless drive.

I laugh and smiled all the way home whilst rain was hitting my windscreen…. and folks were staring at my beautiful ride or the fact that I didn't have the brains to put the top up?

Now a Down pour I may just put the top up.

I’m just the same, I find doing 30+ mph you don’t get wet at all and still have fun

Hi, Briano, when I first saw your post I thought you meant YOU drive topless  - which is alright if you have a six pack figure    - if not its best to put a top on in that cabriolet buddy.
Still, there's no accounting for folks

Oh, and I'm not buying a cabriolet from you- as it must be like a paddling pool inside most of the time……heard it all before…"one careful owner"…

"LIKES wearing wet clothes…" O_o  ha ha.

HAIL - that's the only problem! It hurts like hell on your face at any speed, and it 'pools' in the back seats - I collected nearly a foot of it in the back of my Saab once.

Saw a chap in a Morgan going down the M20 at about 50 roof down, in the pi**ing rain with a big golfing umbrella up - seemed to work quite well (leading edge below the top of the windscreen…). Not sure what plod would have said though!

-10 (C not F for Briano) is the coldest I've been topless - for about 50 miles. F**k it was cold even with coat, gloves, hat & and a 93 Saab doing its best… Anyone do any better?

My Brother took a pic of me in my MG topless but with the Tonneau on, Driving in a blinding Snow storm,  Snorkel Parka, wool inserts in Leather gloves wearing Jeans…. had Balaclava with goggles on the  Heater Vents WIDE open…. Loving every minute of it.

Was trying to get home before the Blizzard hit.

I don't know where the picture is, but I drove that topless alot.

Ya know those early mg's weren't for the faint of heart, many a day I had to shovel snow out of the interior so I could sit in it.  I remember a -20F day I got in and my elbow punched a hole in the seat back….(oem rotted vinyl I was wanting to replace anyway.)….

When i had my mg midget, over 35 years ago now,   i never drove hood down in the rain, but it was quite fun on a very cold but dry day, wrapping up and going for a spin, until i fitted the ford engine and removed the heater. Heater wasnt very good but it made a difference.

I saw a Beautifully restored Bug-eye, looked gorgeous.
The new owner said it was all original.. Popped the Bonnet and there was a 1275 engine in it.  I said I thought that the 948 was the OEM of the engine should of seen his face drop, but I said it wasn't a bad thing to have the extra HP, and the engine did look spotless.

He asked how did I know, I said I have a 58 my brother has a 60 sitting in a Barn in Illinois, and both came with a 948.  My 67 Midget had the 1100 and my brothers 69 mgb had the 1275.  But my Rover, had the 215CI or 3.5 L V8…… loved those things, I need to find the Slides I have…..
