accesories brochure

was there a brochure for accessories available for 1983 gti. It would be good to see what wheels, stereos and other cool bits were available from the dealers when they were new.

Not specifically for the GTI, but does include quite a few Golf items, plus some universal pieces…

It is indeed roof mounted speakers. Surprising what was available in 1983, did you notice the stop/start kit?

Piccies of the Zender kits urgently required… can't throw that out there then expect us not to want to see them!

 

I didn't notice the stop start kit that is ahead of its time. my zender kit was factory fitted on my caddy as its a 1.8i sport model,

 

the kit for the golf I found locally advertised as a clipper kit so will be going on my black 83 gti but not anywhere near fitting it yet

They'll look stunning together, specially one being black and the other white.

Can't be anyone else who can claim to own a Z2 kitted Caddy and Hatch together… probably a unique collection!

I'd probably thought the body kit was fantastic back then these days the complete opposite.

Saw a Full Wide body kit on a Cabriolet, took me a minute to realize what it was.  It had the wider fenders up front to a door skin to a widened rear.  Really well done, Thought about buying the shell, but they have fork lifted it and Crushed the rockers.  I have to say with wider wheels it would of been sharp, and the owner didn't change the color, as it was Mars Red or Tornado.
Wish I had a Camera then.
