Wonder what you guys think my mates campaign will make on ebay

My mate is gambling on a 99p no reserve auction for his Campaign which he littleraly finished restoring a few weeks ago with a little help from me. He's a bit impulsive and thought building a house would be fun so his house was on the market within days of this thought and clearing out his toys to put into a newbuild.. oh to be so impulsive.

I'm the highest bidder at the moment with my 4k bid but recon I'll proabably be outbid and my wife will kill me if I do win it .. plan on getting rid of my campaign if I do win his as stuggling to find the time to work on mine.

I recon it'll probably go for around 5 to 5.5 ? but who knows

Well, it is the right colour, so that is a good start!

It is a difficult one to call as it does look quite clean, though is not quite original…

The wheels really need the centre caps.
Also the one in the boot at least looks to be a later Mk2 wheel as the spacing of the P's looks quite wide. Hard to see with the 4 on the car.

The stickers for the boot should really be on it, not "with it" as per the add.

The windscreen pillar trims are also missing. These can be hard to find in good nick. I have seen them on ebay for around £100 - Not worth that in my opinion, but if they keep going up in value, I'll sell mine!

These little details will make all the difference.

It is at a good price (£3700) considering it has 5 days left as most bids tend to pile on at the end.
I think it will deffo break the £4k mark, and maybe just £5k. I'll guess at £5150

A dealer will bid more than that and you'll see it up for £8k in a few months

You only need just two bidders who badly want it and the skies the limit!  

Not sure it's the premium time of the year to sell though.

Was watching this lot  sniper  bidders In the last 10 seconds fair play to the winner £5100 respect to the seller stickin it up at no reserve. Paid off in the end …

I think the winning bidder has done well there, apparently picking up tomorrow.. he saved me from a kicking by the wife.

one thing we do not want to do is upset the wife. I had to explain the arrival of a genuine passenger side wing last weekend delivered by Royal mail. I do not think i would have got away with another car.

My Wife would castrate me even if she suspects the slightest sniff of even the smallest part coming through the post these day's. 

Which is a silly really because she did that three and a half years ago when I brought them car home!
