Plane tickets booked……..days off work booked…………but cant find any reasonably priced hotels in Wolfsburg ahead of our trip to the factory and museum next March.

Has any one been recently and got any leads so we can get some accommodation booked close to the attractions?

Cheers

We stayed in the Hotel Die Borse.

No issues with it. Had a decent car park and was pretty close to the museum. Wasn't that expensive either iirc.

We will be using it again on our next road trip.

I'm a little surprised because the £ to € is just insane at the moment. The Euro has lost about a third in recent years.

Can't see that City as a top money destination wise within Europe.

Stretch has given you a good lead by the sounds of it but do shop around.

We stayed at Tryp Wolfsburg, straight across the river from the Autostadt.

We did a staff trip back in February and stayed at the Leonardo - 15 mins walk through town from the Autostadt (or 2 mins drive i expect)
It was perfectly pleasant and the lady who runs the bar is english, so we had some good banter with her.
Have a great trip! (if you can try and book a full factory tour in english now! it's mental!)
