What is factory fitted?

Hello guys, I recently got me mk1 and was wondering if the alloys on it are factory fitted, I been through google images and still can see my wheels on a mk1 GTI, I have a few questions firstly are the factory fitted mk1 GTI ALLOYS, are they rare?, and is the middle of the wheel ment to be dark grey or are they ment to be completely silver, this is a pic I found on eBay but my ones are all silver all help is appriciated 

i have never seen them on a mk1 golf they do look the the early audi 80 sport alloys

Yeah agree looks like an early Audi alloy.

arnt they ronal r8's if so i dont believe they were ever factory fitted but im almost certain they were sold as an option by dealers

They look like A80 sport wheels to me mate .There are two types with different stud patterns . one with the part number starting 857 and the other 811. If they fit on your mk1 you must have the wheels that start 811.
Defo not factory for the mk1 but they are VAG wheels

I thought factory alloys were tarantulas on the gti? Maybe scalas too. Definitely look like audis to me but as said above they are vag and possibly dealer fitted

Thanks guys, you lot are great help, I wanted to make this original but alloys like this let's down the side, feel sorry for the person I got it off poor guy out a louder exhaust, put tinted lights, these alloys, ripped off the side stripes, installed electric windows ( not working, and make a Mdf pacel shelf, and ripped of the front duct spoiler, but I'm gna try getting it all standard anyone know a good place to buy what I need to turn back to original, hope fully good secondhand bits be ok, I out out a list of wanted bits on the wanted page so guys take a look cheers 

Very similar to Alpina Turbines for the BMW E21 (4x100), might be copies.

Google says there were a few including Rota R20's, MIM's and OZ.
