Weather complaint!

Post

Absolutely no substance to this topic, just a general moan about the weather at the moment, it's killing my car. Don't have a garage so the cabbys sat outside under a cover, which to be fair does the job. However this wind is constantly lifting the cover, letting water in and causing the straps to rub on the paint work:ocf_emoticons__BangHead:. Gggrrr - roll on summer! On the plus side the wife agrees when we move house a garage is required for the car.

I'm all for a moan,  luckily the mk1's tucked up in the garage but we have 2 other dubs on the drive and I fully expected to wake up to find the roof of the house on top of em, we're right on the south coast in Dorset and man it was scarily windy last night, luckily no flooding here tho, feel for those guys who have it bad !!!

Me too, luckily it's in a garage but makes it very difficult to move around and get anything done. Only got another month before I put it back on the road hopefully the weather will be better by then otherwise a lot more waxoil will be needed.

Mines covered as well, I have also at the moment got some rope and run it through the front wheels then round the front bumper and same on rear which seems to help it stop lifting.

Mine's in the garage but that is flooding - but nothing compared to the poor soles you see on TV, just a small pool on the floor - fortunately not on the side of the car I'm working on.

Given the sun's out I'm about to go and try and fix the leak!

Well for a change I've no complaints.
Normally up to my butt in snow and temps down below -15 but nope.

Feels like late March or early April here but my MK1 stays tucked up in bed until the 1st of April just in case…

Do feel for all those affected back home with the flooding, not good, not good at all!   :ocf_emoticons__eusa_pray:

For the year! That's incredible,  Christ go and offer them £100 to buy the thing, if they only want 50 they probably would sell it for next to nothing.
