VW heritage seat fabric

Has anyone had any personal experience with the red stripe material you can buy from VW heritage? I'm looking at redoing the seats in my mk1 but don't want to buy the material at £60 per metre if it's no good.

Does any have any pictures of the new material next to the old material?

Hugh seat and fabric looks better in the flesh so if your material is old and tatty it is a good option to go for.

or you can flip the original material over - it's the same on the inside
