Is it nessasary when driving with the top down to fit the small cover over the folded hood.
Yesterday we tried to fit that cover and more or less got it ok….put has a press stud on a flap on either side with nowhere to go…..
And has 2 straps hanging down over the rear seat with nowhere obvious to secure to….with its them the cover would act as a parachute….we temp connected them to the rear lap straps…..but it didnt look right.
So 3 things……does this cover need to be on hood down….we cant fine a location for one of the press studs each side…..and the straps hanging down over the back seats.

I was trying to find some pictures but can't seem to find any online, next time I put my roof down I can take some pictures but there is some difference between models.
I guess yours is a later car having an electric roof, (built after 1989?)

On the rear edge of the boot cover, you hook the edge clips to the boot tabs on the left and right of the top.
The 2 straps on the front of the boot cover go around the top and velcro to the underside of the parce shelf.
I eventually placed a snap receiver on the under side of the parcel shelf, and the top snap on the straps themselves.
