Seat inspo for custom seats & door cards

Hi there! I've got a white '89 MK1 clipper cabby that I'm getting custom covers and door cards for. Atm she has shabby light tan seats and door cards. I'm planning on a mid-tan half leather but not sure about the cloth? I want to keep the look era-specific but I'm conscious I don't want to put in a VW check - although a different check would be good. I just think if I'm shelling out for custom covers I just want something a bit more special.

As a Hoovies Garage fan I did enjoy his bus covers in his Ferrari. Probs a bit too far, but I did rather like this fabric below (but it feels too 70s colour-wise).

Any help or sources of info greatly appreciated! I have googled but not a lot of half tan leather ones coming up (except those mental Porsche ones - you can actually buy the OEM fabric for that, god knows how much that is)

I'm currently in the process of making new door cards and sourcing the white leather / vinyl that the Karmann clippers used. After that I will be redoing my seats as well. I'm sticking with the plain white / cream leather and angled pattern like this //// as it's original to my interior. I'm not a great fan of the colours or the check pattern cloth style on the mid sections.
