Wheel camber

Post

Hi all, I want to have the rear wheel camber look on my mk1 cabrio.
On the front you have the camber adjusting bolts, could anyone point me in the right direction as to exactly what I need to do the rear wheels please.
Thanks in advance.

Subtle? That'll happen as it's lowered.

If you want more you need 'the plastic shims of death' as they are sometimes referred to.

Or I have some for £18 posted if you want.

There is a pokey way involving washers but I wouldn't go there myself.

Welcome along BTW!

Wheel camber

Hi ian, thanks for the reply. Iā€™m not looking for a ridiculous camber but Iā€™m looking for a bit more than subtle.
Iā€™ve seen those shims about but I was not sure if that was all you needed.
How much camber will the ones you are selling give?

They're the same as the ones in the add.

Erm I think it's up to about + or - 1.5 degrees.

As stated in the ad, too much camber not only looks rubbish but will also ruin your tyres and stop rear end grip due to a tiny contact patch of tyre.

Hence why I never ended up using them.

Remember this is not cool! it's just plain stupid!
