Hi guys need some help. I recently bought a mk1 golf of a friend, who was in the navy in Germany. As the car was being driven to the uk, it was broken into and all the paper work stolen, log book etc. I've got in touch with the dvla and they say it can't be registered in the uk without the log book. Is there a way to get a new log book and how. Any help will be much appreciated cheers
