I was not sure about Matt la Blanc on Top gear (1st series with Chris Evans) till he did the Porsche 911 review then I had respect for him as he did understand what cars are about.
I know what he means about the Porsche not being a "Super car" but it's a super car!
Lamborghini if you ask my heart, Porsche if you ask my head… that's my choice. :thumbs:This is the clip I mean.

I reckon he was just hamming that up for the sake of entertainment.
He clearly loved the Porsche.
Quite enjoying this series, properly laughing at it again and the reviews are cracking.
Hated Evans and hadn't thought much of clarkson et als last few series

Well here's my dream super car and it's now 33 years old but it would still take some beating.

The Audi Sport Quattro.
Shorter than the standard Q which was really noticeable when you parked them side by side.
300 built for homologation and about 200 sold to the public by invitation only direct from Audi Germany.

Back then the standard car would cost in the region of 30k, the Sport on the other hand 50k if Audi decided you were a suitable owner!

I was lucky enough to drive two of them and even till this day I'd give my left arm for one.

Road or race, you choose.

If you ever get the chance to be a passenger in one of these driven by one of the Audi Team rally drivers you'll discover three things.

1. The car is unbelievable.
2. You can't drive.
3. Adrenaline is brown and sticky and is a real bügger to clean up off.
