My 1983 white tin top gti was stolen from my home last night in the Nottinghamshire area.😡

Scumbags, still think sharia law and cutting off hands is a good idea. I think I'm going to wash the inside, outside and engine with Smart Water.

While trying to get pictures up I've had a call from Nottinghamshire police. They found my car abandoned in the middle of the road.will go and check it out in the morning.

A long, long time ago by Brother In Law had his Lotus Cortina stolen from Southampton in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It was found in a small side street in Portsmouth, keys in the car and a folded piece of paper in the floor well.
When the Police opened it, a five pound note fell out and the message read something like this.
" Sorry we stole your car but we could find a Taxi at that time of the morning, so we took your car.
We didn't drive it hard and hope you get in back in the same condition you left it".

In those days a gallon was costing less than a pound!  
Now that doesn't happen often but I really pleased yours has been found mate.  

Have you got it back now ?  I hope there's not too much damage done 

No news as yet the place the police had It recovered to is shut for the weekend and I have no real idea as to what state the car is in?

Years ago my cousin had his car disappear one night from outside his house. Think it was an old MkIV Cortina, the old fords that you could open the door with a 2p coin in the key slot It was found a few miles away undamaged and the police said it had prob just been used to get home by some drunks as it was a very wet and windy night.
