Steering rack nuts

going to be taking my steering rack off so need to know what type, size and thread are needed for the steering rack brackets?

From memory they are standard thread  8mm nuts. I used nylons as I had them available.

Got 2 off and 2 to go 
They look like copper nuts

Think I will get some nylock ones

probley not just zinc plated yellow self locking ones

these are different to nylocks

Think they are the 'squashed' prevailing torque nuts,

Yes, slightly squashed and copper in appearance.

Same type as used on steering UJ ?
