Are mk2 runners the same as mk1? Seen some nice seats for the gti but they are out a mk2

yeah most of them fit but you will need to move the drivers side lever mount which requires a bit of welding

as above but you don't really need to weld it if you don't want to, I fitted some mk2 seats in my mk1 by following the guide on here, was pretty simple, obviously not as neat as welding the other mount but everything worked fine
