Seat re-trim

Do you think my seat can be repaired? The others are all in very good condition just the drivers that need attention..

Yeah that looks repairable, you can get a new foam for the lower bolster that has collapsed, the upper bolster material can be replaced, the only issue is that the replacement cloth will not match the rest of the seat cloth as that will have faded from the original colour.

Ok Brilliant any idea where i could get the material from? And do you think any upholsterers could do the job?

The black bolster material looks like the standard gti stuff in that picture available from Vw Heritage amoung other places, pretty sure you can get the bolster foam from there as well. As far as cost goes it depends on whether you can disassemble the  seats and covers yourself or just want to drop the whole seat off at the trimmers and pick up the finished seat. Best to look for someone in your area.

as for the lower bolsters they are as one - on a cabby except for the recaro seats.. no separate side cushions which are on the tintop. i'm sure they sell the upright bolsters too.

Looks like the back rest foam has already been repaired, a decent coach trimmer could do the same with the seat base too, to save you buying a new one.

Looks like that fabric is grey not black though, so you might have to source that second hand.
